Stand To!

Since 1981, 127 editions of the journal of The Western Front Association Journal Stand To! (and several 'Specials') have been published.

The print editions of these are sent automatically to WFA Members four times a year.

NOTE: Only Digital Members have access to the latest four issues of Stand To! in digital form in addition to the rest of the archive. 

Digital Members receive a PDF copy and a link to read these online. All copies of Stand To! From October 1981 to the latest edition are available to Members in digital form via the WFA Member Login.

There are over 1,728 articles and additional shorter items and more than 2,290 book reviews. 

There is a comprehensive 'contents page' for each issue listing all the articles, items and book reviews, as well as some of the items reported by the editor of featuring in 'Communications Lines' - letters to the editor. 

In addition, the meticulous use of 'tags' will help you find and group articles by theme, or author.

There is a 'Full Contents Listing' for all editions, running to over 266 pages. This can be the best way to browse the entire archive or build up a list of your favourite articles, such as all 25 articles on tanks, or all 104 editions of 'The Camera Returns' or the 70+ editions of 'War Art'.
