16 17 Section ii-—National Superintendents shall be nominated by ballot by the National Executive Committee, and elected by the Annual Council, the vote to be taken on each candidate separately. The financial year shall terminate on March 25th of each year, and the books shall then be audited. She shall give to the Corresponding Secretary the whole number of delegates to which each affiliated or local society is entitled according to the amount of fees paid, and shall perform all other duties usually pertaining to the office. XIII.—DUTIES OF THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE. EXECUTIVE Section i.—It shall be the province of the National Executive Committee to carry on the business of the Association under such regulations as may be prescribed by the Council, and otherwise at its discre- ton. The Committee must report its proceedings to the Council. Section i.—The National Executive Committee shall. meet six times a year, including the meetings immediately before and immediately after the National Council Meetings, and shall have the power to choose the time and place of such meetings. Twenty-five Members ‘shall form a quorum. Section ili.—In the interim of these meetings the business of the Asso- ciation shall be conducted by a Sub-Committee of the National Executive, consisting of the President, Acting Vice-President Hon. Secretaries and Treasurer, and the Hon. General Secretary of the Y’s, and eight or more members of the National Executive Committee to be chosen by that Committee. Seven Members shall form a quorum. The Sub-Committee shall report to the National Executive Committee at its Quarterly Meetings. The Sub-Committee shall appoint its own Office Secretary. ; XIV.—DEPARTMENTS OF WORK. The work of the Association shall be embraced under the following heads :— PREVENTIVE. EDUCATIONAL. EVANGELISTIC. SOCIAL. ORGANIZATION. LEGAL.
