I.—Name.
This Union shall be known as the...............045 County Union
the National British Women’s Temperance Association.

Report of the same, and disburse moneys only by order of the Y
Committee.
VII.—THE COMMITTEE.
The Committee shall meet at the call of its President and
Secretary, or three of its members ; five to constitute a quorum.
Its
duties shall be to fill all vacancies, suggest plans and measures of work,
and supervise all details of carrying out the same.
Its proceedings
shall be subject to the approval of the Y Branch.
VIII—MEETINGS.
Meetings of the Y Branch shall be held at such time and
place as the Committee may decide.

mittee, at which time the Annual Report of the Y Branch shall be
read, and the Officers and Superintendents of Departments
shall
be elected by ballot or by acclamation.
IX.—BADGE.
White Ribbon shall be the Badge of the Society ; also the little
Enamel Badge with the letter Y.
X.—PLEDGE.
‘I promise by divine assistance to abstain from all Intoxicating
Drinks as a beverage, and to try to induce others to do the same.”
XI—BASIS OF REPRESENTATION
TO
B.W.T.A. COUNCIL.
Each Y Branch consisting of 100 or less members may send one
Delegate to the Council, and an Additional Delegate for each 100 or
less members, but no Y Branch may send more than three Delegates.

Report of Corresponding Secretary ; Treasurer’s Report; Unfinished

Bye-laws can be formulated as the growth of the work may require.
Each Branch may choose from the B.W.T.A. list of Departments for
work, or may form Departments of their own, appointing suitable
Superintendents for each Department they may take up.

Officers of the Union shall be a President,

VI.—MEETINGS.
The Union to meet quarterly, on the invitation of a
local Branch,
or as may be decided by the Union or Executive Commit
tee.
VIT.— REPRESENTATION,
The Business Meetings shall consist of the Executive
Committee,
two representatives from every Branch (to be elected
annually by the
Branch), and the President and Secretary of each Branch
ex-officio.

can be advantageously held in connection with the Quarter

submitted such report to the Y Branch, giving items of general interest
which will enable her to judge correctly of the condition of the Y
Branch.
She will also file letters received, and assist the Recording
Secretary in preparing the Annual Report.
Recording Secretary to keep accurate minutes of all meetings of
the Y Branch, to give due notice of such meetings, notify Officers of
their election, and Committees of their appointment ; keep a record of
