We have taken up the Barmaid

the magistrates.
The Reigate Branch has presented to the combined medical
profession of the town a letter, signed by their Committee, asking them
to cease entirely to recommend alcoholic beverages either to men or
women.
Redhill Branch has successfully formed a Y section, and in
other parts of the Union this work is in contemplation.

This Union has shown much vitality during the year.
The
number of new Branches is encouraging, and the vigour of the large
majority of the older Branches has given much cheer to the Union officers.
A happy sign is, that the Branches are recognizing increasingly

A deep and widespread interest is taken in the present serious
crisis, and the Union has certainly done its part in awakening the
Principality to a sense of the gravity of the situation.

we have during the past year met at Neath
Cardiff, and Pontypridd, and the reports given by the delegates at
these meetings have been most encouraging, telling as they did of
rescued lives, brightened homes, and, best of all, souls saved for the
Kingdom of “God and His Christ.”
Branches report of different phases of work, many and varied,
but one is glad to hear all report meetings for prayer.
Brewster Sessions work has been most effectively carried on, more
