UNION.
Our work this year has been decidedly encouraging.
There has
been a full representation of delegates at nearly every Quarterly
Council Meeting, and the reports of special work done by the Royal
Naval Branches at Basingstoke, Southampton, Portsmouth and Win-
chester, have been very successful.
South Hayling reports good work
done among the villagers, also starting a Y Branch.
The other Y
Branches in the county show a large increase of membership.
Our
Isle of Wight Branches are looking up, and are affiliating to the
Union.
The Council Meeting held in July next will meet at Cowes,
and we trust will be the means of strengthening and increasing the
usefulness of the Isle of Wight Branches in the Temperance work.
